Simple question really, what are they like?

My Son had one for a while. I really liked it. It felt like everything matched really well.

Handling, performance, brakes, gearchange and clutch all felt very well balanced.

All that, just not very fast.

I quite like them. Nice steering feel, sound pretty good too. Kinda slow though.

Cheers guys. Yeah I was thinking that 150bhp wasn't very much, still considering buying one though

My wife had one. I liked it - what everyone says in this thread I agree. Fuel consumption was shocking though - not much better than a Focus ST (we would struggle to get 28-29mpg on average, maybe 33mpg on a run). I seem to recall that insurance was a little on the steep side too.

She eventually changed it for a new-shape Zetec-S, which I actually preferred - much better built, more equipment and I prefered the handling. Slower obviously though,
