The bit of material on my door card has fallen off so it now looks like this:

As you can see, it looks st and I don't particularly want my car looking like that.

What is the best glue to use to get this back on. I don't want the glue to come through the fabric like some does.

Thanks,
Bob

How about some of that spray contact glue. Spray it on both surfaces and let it go tacky then carefully stick it down. Careful though, it's difficult to unstick.

It won't look good unless you can get that backing piece out and fold the edges over.

That's what I was thinking but it is only just big enough to cover the front. I might have to see if I can get it out.

Good old Rover build quality...

You may find it better to source a door card from eBay / local breakers.

It's a 15-year-old modestly priced car, nothing to do with 'Rover build quality' rolleyes

Why hasn't that kind of stuff happened to my 17 year old Mazda, then?

'You can't see me so I can't see you!'

Are you being serious? One car thus makes an entire marque identical? How about all the similar aged Mazdas that are rusting away, a bit more serious than a bit of trim. You can peel away the dashboard of some similar vintage Ferraris but I'm sure you wouldn't have a moan about the legendary Modena build quality...
