Can anyone share a little inspiration...!?

I'm selling my car this weekend, have stuff to pay off, and want to put a little bit of money away...

This means I have budgeted myself around £5000 for a replacement.

What, in your opinion, is the fastest/most interesting/best VFM at this sort of money? What would you buy if you had this budget for a daily driver? The car literally only has to get me to and from work which is about 4 miles a day, plus a little driving at weekends etc.

Any and all suggestions welcome, my only criteria is that it doesnt look like a banger (ideally!)

Extra points for the most original (but still half sensible) ideas!

Cheers!

A very well presented example of a X308 Daimler Super V8 LWB.

not sure, but it does mean he's most likely been under the bonnet, maybe the Mrs isn't the problem

2003-2005 Impreza WRX PPP

Most fun/reliability/performance you can get for £5k.
(Because I wouldn't want to run an Sti as a daily driver personally).

Maybe you could use the money as a down payment for a Dacia Duster?
