Afternoon Chums

Having just had someone try to kill me on the M25 the other day I am now in possession of the worst example ever of a 2008/58 BMW 520d loaner. It`s a filthy dirty, beaten to hell 100k example, but I do have to use it.

It has built in sat nav, and has a phone button, which comes up with BMW dealers if pressed. I have no instruction books so does anybody know how I find out if it has bluetooth phone connection or not?

Would be handy if it does and can`t see that it wouldn`t if it has the nav, but you never know rolleyes

Cheers in advance
Dave

Open the main menu for the Idrive (4 options) press the Idrive controller down for the 'I' option. Scroll down....

It must be stationary with the handbrake on....

Ok, done that, but still none the wiser frown

Options available when I do the above are:

Tone
Display Settings
Steering Wheel Buttons
Vehicle/Tyres
Langauge/Units
Clock/Date
Traffic Information Settings

I have found a microphone in the roof console, but nothing else obvious for a phone kit!

If I press the phone button, the screen comes up with the following:

BMW Contact Numbers
Mobile Service +442086862444
Your BMW Dealer 01488682772
Customer Service +448705050160

haha, very true, a bit of digging seems to have uncovered a Parrot CK3100 kit fitted, but no screen anywhere and cannot connect to it banghead

I`ve decided they can have it back anyway, it was supposed to be a like for like replacement car, not that I`m worried, and anything to get me about is fine, but it`s 100k mile, beaten to hell and back, stinks, covered in stains inside, and has warning lights on for fuel, overdue service and oil level too high!!!
