Lovely silver Carrera GT with the reg 6T overtook me on the A47 heading towards Uppingham this aft. Car had no front number plate and hit a dip in the road when accelerating - didn't half make it squirm. Thought the driver was losing it!

Different cars. I wouldn't really compare them. Awesome thing though and it is ageing incredibly well.

Looks very very smart and fresh while the SLR meh.

Always seems that Porche really push things properly like the 959.

I wonder what they are planning as the next Carrera GT replacement or the next super car??? And when

The 918 is due fairly soon. That will be an awesome car. There are photos of it pounding round the Nurburgring decked out in Martini racing colours.

Superb looking car in superb iconic livery.

Whilst a Noble M600 is superior to the F40 in every respect.

Never understood the veneration that the CGT seems to get. The front is dull and the back is just ugly, to my eye.

I'm sure it's lovely to drive but I doubt I'll ever get the chance. The noise is nice.

Exquisitely detailed, but the whole impression is "very smart" rather than "exotic" - which I think is why its aging so well.

Probably true actually; but of course you can't really get an idea of the detailing from pictures.

Personal taste I guess, I think it looks great - much more subtle and timeless than some of its peers (Ferrari Gonzo etc) which didn't take long at all to look dated.

The Enzo hasn't aged badly - it was a mess from the day it was released. biggrin
