Powder coating or respray on alloys
Discussion
Hi I have stupidly and idiotically hit the kerb.. Ouch and i have damaged two of my alloys.
The alloys are black and now you can see bits of silver around..
I am looking to touch all 4 up and i am trying to decide whether i should go for a quick respray ( sanding and touch up) or the powder coating which I am unsure of.
They are not badly damaged, its just the rims that are making them look ugly.
Any advice?

I've had my alloys powder coated and I think that it's a softer material than stoved on paint, for instance when I removed the wheels the wheel brace marked the silver powdercoat around the bolt holes and has spoiled the otherwise excellent finish. If I was in your shoes I'd have a go at a careful touch-up repair and if that's unsatisfactory get them re-painted.
Thank you everyone for all for the speedy advice and with abit of researching too i have decided to go againts the powder coating.
I will stick to the simple process as easy as Sand, Prime ,Paint & Laquer... ( i think)
I have been watching some youtube vids but to be honest as much as id love to give this a shot my self i better not so im just going to give a helping hand instead..
