Cobra rep rolling chassis?

Hi all!
So for the past month me and my girlfriend have been kind of living with her father in south Wales, today he took me to his garage and showed me his project!
I couldn't believe my eyes!
Its all there apart from a bodyshell,
It's got a 3.5l rover v8, but what I'm wondering and I could see in his eyes too as he spoke of selling the bits is,
How much does a decent fibreglass shell cost for one of these?
And do I convince him to sell and buy a caterham type machine instead?
HELP!!

You need to know what replica it is.

Also its not just going to be the body, there will be loads to do. I'm assuming interior, dash etc.

To get a half decent Cobra (Pigrim, Dax etc) up and running will cost around the same amount as a tidy, road registered, MOT'd Westfield.....so I'd think hard before you consider taking the plunge into Cobra building!

This is what I mean,
It just took me by surprise because he's a quiet man in his 60's who's trying to learn more about computers, drives a Peugeot 206 1.1 as a daily I just couldn't believe it!
My girlfriend seems to have her rose tinted specs on saying it won't be that bad! I'm not too sure though, basically it's ready for an interior and the body, the only prices I can find for the body are way in the thousands, I'll get pics if and when I'm allowed back into the garage before I go back to England!
