Tesco opted not to renew it's sponsorship deal this year perhaps and the toys have been thrown out the pram as a result? Haven't read of any issues with Momentum of late, no high profile cars melting and so on?

Seems a very bold statement to make on your company website.

That's not new though, is it? They've had their name and logo plastered all over the MGs for months now.

Yep, JT's team haven't had the Tesco sponsorship for a while in the BTCC as they sponsor another team. They sponsored his VX220 and M3 previously.
