Hi all,

I have volunteered to assist my Aunt in the selling of her car. I am aware that 'selling on behalf of..' adverts turn some people off so I'm looking at putting together a well worded advert and I was looking at tips based on what you guys, as buyers, are happy with.

I'm guess that correct grammar and punctuation are a must, as is no CAPSLOCK. However basic English aside what other things should I be sure do to/avoid doing when writing the perfect car advert?

Think of everything you would like to know if buying a similar car and write it down in easy to read format. Simple.

I quite like ads with a 'short' version first with basic details with long below with more detail for those that wish. This only really makes sense for more specialist cars I imagine.

You could do this & included decent pics?
Or you could do the "witty" eBay ad that get retweeted!

You should list it for £500 then state the real price is actually £7950. This is sure to attract your target market.
