The wife decides to go to Cheshire oakes today, shes took the kids and mother in law nice day out.
The trouble really started when im finishing work, thats when i had a phone call to say 'Im in wales, how do i get home', fking brilliant, i got her turned around when she promptly drove into chester city center, after being stuck in chester's traffic for an hour and totaly unable to find the A51 Nantwich road she is busy motorvating down the A41, for all those familier with the area shes supposed to be going to a small village near Crewe, dont get me wrong she's a good little driver, but she cant find anywhere, annoyingly its her refusal to share the driving or even atempt to map read when we go out anywhere, thats come back and kicked her up the arse.
The whole situation would be funny if she wasnt spending 3 hours [so far] driving around with 2 young children in the car which has no fking aircon, nevermind itll be my basterd fault when she gets ingrumpy.

So, she's going to be very late because she's lost and she is using maps instead of taking a sat-nav with her that might record where she's actually been this evening and you're going to get no sex. . . . . . .

Yes, lost - that's where she is! Definitely not anything else! biggrin

Buy her a smartphone and put a GPS tracking App on it. At least next time you will know where she is even if she doesn't. sonar

Women - maps
Men - knitting patterns

Same mental blackout occurs.

That doesn't always work. My wife recently took one of my kits to a scouts camp. I told her to use the sat nav (the site was programed as a favourite), but aparently her friend knew where it was so they didn't need it. An hour later I get a call because they are lost, so I tell her to try the satnav.

She agree's, but about another hour later she calls to tell me they have arrived, but there no sign of a scout camp. We have a short discussion about who's fault it is, then once we've agreed that its mine, we decide we'll not talk for a bit.

2 hours later she arrives back at home (4 hours of what should have been a 50 minute round trip). They eventually found it by calling a friend who was already there, and she gave them directions.

Anyhoo....when we went to pick up the sprog, I went with the wife, and used satnav. Looking at the recent destinations showed that she had infact not selected the scout camp, but the option above it, which luckily was about only 5 miles from the scout camp. Thank god she didn't press anything further away, like my office in London!

Another MCP thread.
well I'm male, have no sense of direction and find map reading tricky.
My wife is never lost, loves maps and is an excellent map reader.
