Not sure if anyone else here has done this, but I had a go at the Silver half day session at Drift Limits on the weekend.

It was a very enjoyable day and I'd definitely recommend it to any fellow PHers wanting to do something similar. Basically for £89 we got around 40 minutes seat time in MX5's doing Handbrake turns, J-turns, drifting around a circle of cones, linking 2 drifts together and at the end a few full laps as sideways as possible smile

Much better value than any supercar experience I have ever done before and I'll definitely be going back when they've added an E46 M3 to the fleet. The instructors were real petrolheads and definitely get a buzz out of encouraging you to really push the cars hard, which is a pleasant change to many instructors who I've come across in the past.

Not sure if I can post links here but if anyone wants it feel free to PM me, I'm sure it's on Google too.

Look out for either Drift Tutor or go onto the Driftworks site.
You will be amazed at what these guys do - honest.
I know that Drift Tutor is run by a couple of guys who have actually won major competitions around the UK and they are GOOD.

Booked in on the gold day on sun 8th June. Really looking forward to it.

Hopefully after the skills built up on the day I'll be a bit more confident in getting the back out of the m3

We were there on Sunday for my stag weekend.

I can't recommend them enough, the instructors were a great bunch and really knew their stuff. Definitely going back for more!
