Are the central London Olympic lanes a joke?

I've been ranting for a month now about how daft the lanes are and what an insult it is that we have to hand the road over to "Dignitaries" and "V.I.P's" - what, so they get to go and watch sport while making me late to work? Bunch of self important ar£e... anyway they came in to full force this morninig and while I did set off 15 minutes earlier (05:50) my journey time was 15 minutes quicker. Could it be that getting rid of traffic lights actually works?! THAT's what we've been saying for years.
Any way in other news, Craig David has been given a role in Team GB's archery team.

He will be the bow selector.
