Worked out i'd have to spend £42 on an excessive amount of squash, baked beans and toilet roll (stuff that would get used in the end) to make a £25 saving on fuel... Still trying to figure out if it's worth doing or not...

Getting on this already.

Of course it's only worth doing if you eat beans, drink squash & coffee, wash your clothes and wipe your arse.

If you do none of those things then clearly it's not of benefit to you!

Bog roll and beans are on my normal shopping list.

Mind you I recently stopped using Tesco fuel...

And if you do none of those you can buy the vouchers on eBay...

Haven't you lot figured it out yet? You buy something of high value to get your petrol voucher then take it back for a refund after you've topped up - amateurs... rolleyes

That's not as un-workable as it sounds.
I exchanged £25 worth of Club card vouchers for £50 worth of dog food (one of their exchange deals) and at the check out I got Club card point on the £50 I had 'spent'!

Fool, get it delivered with a first time shopper code, save £10, then take it back to the store for a full refund.

Amateur. rolleyes

or just buy from Tesco's, Waitrose does have alternatives.

Can't do that anymore, new thing in the T&Cs that say if you want a refund of the products, you have to hand your coupons back.

Can't decide if its worth doing for me. I have ketchup with most things, and often buy the big bottles. Would cost me around £45 for 5 10p off coupons and would save £35 off a full tank...mmmmm

They can't have the petrol voucher back if you've already used it.

But they could refuse to refund? No idea how that works though, I'm glad I don't work on customer services anymore!

Got myself 20 bottles of ketchup for £6.50. Also filled my car up from empty for £56.22!
