Mudlfaps reduce spray in the rain on motorways massively and it is a shame more cars do not have them
+1not to mention it reduces the chances of stones being kicked up by cars in front.
i was driving over some newly gravelled roads (because councils can't afford to roller them in properly nowadays and use public traffic to do their work for them), i was keeping my distance and driving slowly but my windscreen still got chipped by the guy in front who had no mud flaps.

If I didn't have mud flaps on the front of my Elise I wouldn't have paint on the rear wings.
"Stone flaps" would be a better description. Vital on any car with a coke bottle plan view.
Do they do them in Caterham flavour?"Stone flaps" would be a better description. Vital on any car with a coke bottle plan view.

That`s the worst `I`ve got an Elise` post I`ve ever read :P"Stone flaps" would be a better discription. Vital on any car with a coke bottle plan view.

I have an MX5 as well. No mud flaps and it doesn't need them. But the Elise does, so it was relavant.

Good man. I had an Elise for 3 years, loved it to bits... oh and I do remember the mud/stone flaps, they were really suttle and did a relatively good job at keeping the stone chips down.
