Simple question, if you want to legally max out a car, where is the nearest unrestricted autobahn where you can do it?

Can't imagine there are too many long straights. Trying to vmax you car there sounds like suicide!

Space is more important than the lane count and it's often the two-laners that deliver the space.

I'd be disinclined to push on if my car was needing more than one lane in any case.

There are a few places in the UK where you could pay to do a legal vmax run.

Although if you're aiming for over 200 mph it would limit the possible locations!

Don't think he meant keeping in lane but simply 3 lanes gives you a much better chance of someone not pulling out into your lane.
You see plenty of heavy braking on the autobahns.
6:00am Sunday morning is a good time. I was thrashing a Seat diesel at about 125mph a few weeks ago and a Veyron passed me rowing well over 200mph.

Strange road that one, traffic speeds always seem to be much faster than most motorways.
Especially odd as there are loads of roundabouts along the route and plenty of police along it too.
