Further to the wifes impressive driving thread

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Today I was clening my windscreen ready toput some rainx on. Wifey comes out to put some washer fluid in her car - oooo can you do mine while you do yours - so I flip the bonnet.

One minute later and oh - "it doesn't hold much does it", I find she has filled my flashlube bottle. I suppose it could have been worse, at least it was easy to fix unlike , brake nor PAS fluid.

are you saying it's a shame you can't beat women and that you would beat her for that?

makes sense to me..... just repeatedly hit her with the empty bottle...

wife calls into house this morning - my car needs oil.. I notice that its still on the sloped driveway so tell her it needs to be on levelk ground to check the oil and go in the shower after coming out and getting dressed I go down and sort out the appropriate oil for her car. "How much does it want?" I say, " theres nothing showing on the dipstick!" she says. I then reply" you should be checking it more often if its loosing oil". I then proceed to add about 250ml of oil, then check it - A mile over the MAX mark on the dipstick!! As it turns out she had only moved the car off the driveway a moment before checking the oil!!
And yes she should know better , she has been shown and taught a million times!

No idea what flashlube is. A Google search left me no more enlightened.

nice one...............laugh

I suppose I should have explained - Flashlube is an 'oil' that stops valve seat recession on cars with soft valve seats when using LPG.

Don't use Rain-X.

They sponsor fake road safety charity BRAKE.

Consider yourself lucky.

I received a call today from my distraught wife, to say she had jumped in my car to go to my aunties, started it up (parked in gear as our driveway is quite a slope) and crashed it into the garage door, and hit the Monaro behind it! rolleyes

Why o why do people not depress the bloody clutch on start up, it prevents so much trouble!

Luckily, I've been able to fix the now quite dented garage door, and machine polish the scratches out of both cars. Phew.

Silly lass, good job I love 'er biggrin

I actually use the Halfrauds cheap version, but for the sake of the story I said Rain X - still works a treat, no wipers for 1.5 hrs thru pissing down rain tonight on my drive down to Newbury. Only down side you need to go 50mph+ in my car for it to work best.
