Coming to a 1.6 near you soon...

Very odd break in confused Surely it would have been easier to take the whole car and then strip it. Surprised the alloys weren't nicked as well.

All the VAG parts inter-changability seems to be fueling this type of thing - no doubt there will be a boggo Polo with that interior soon.

Stolen car - very traceable. Stolen interior - not so.

They'll probably come back in a few weeks to see if it's been replaced.

And it doesn't take too long to get the seats out if you've had practice, and you don't need to run the risk of being ANPR'd if you don't have the car. Drive up in a 4x4 or transit, break into the car, whip the seats out in a minute or two and then stuff them in the back of the van.

Scum, sub-human scum ...

My mate came out of his house one morning to find his car had it's drivers door stolen. Nothing else, just the door.

FFS it is SCUM who are stealing these seats not the poor sod who ends up paying a lot of money to buy them and fit them into their car regardless if it is a Polo/Golf/A3 or whatever.

The buyer will know full well where these have come from, they aren't innocents ....

A few decades ago someone I knew had the rear seat of his Granada stolen.
It turned out it was a rare option colour which he found out when he tried to get a replacement.

Obviously somewhere someone's kid had puked on theirs so went for a drive round looking for another.

Low lifes.

A sensible suggestion, a 'dodgy' bodyshop who is charging a client for the work and then sourcing them elsewhere with a five finger discount.
