Multi car insurance conundrum
Discussion
Well now it has got to the point that there are now 4 cars being used by the family, 3 for me (one will be passed on to the daughter now she has started work, with her own policy, but not until the 19th of August, it would be £1200 now as opposed to £900 after that date), and one for the wife.
I am currently discussing with an insurance company wether they will accept my current no claims on one car, for use concurrently with another car, but they seem very reluctant. They do say they will "mirror" it, on another car, but i must ask the existing insurance company to zero my no claims on the existing policy.
I have checked with "sailor sam" on his multi car cover but the figures quoted are laughable.
So any ideas from the collective PH crowd, on any other options.

i use a broker who put my cars on a multi car policy, with additional complications such as company insurance previously that effects the NCB.
they saved a fortune and we now pay £1600 ish for 4 cars:- Volvo V70R, Saab Aero, Volvo 850 shed and a modified Jeep Wrangler. before going multi car the individual premiums were over £4400!

At present i will, for all four, pay £1800-£1900, except for the fast flying insurance company bringing up their objection on the NCD, which will add another £300 to the overall total, and in reality it will only be until i get the daughter on her own policy, but i was wanting to run my policy until renewal ( September ) to get my NCD to that date. they saved a fortune and we now pay £1600 ish for 4 cars:- Volvo V70R, Saab Aero, Volvo 850 shed and a modified Jeep Wrangler. before going multi car the individual premiums were over £4400!
