Going to order the paint for a bike tank and want it in flat grey. Does anyone know specific names of manufacturer colours that i can look at? I'm thinking the sort of grey you could get nissan figaros in, but the more choices the better.

Thx chaps, had been leaning towards nissan lapis grey but want to exhaust all options. I think to really do what i need it to it needs to be a warm grey rather than a cool one, if that makes any sense..

That vw chip page has some very good colours on it.

Nimbus and aviator are both good too, but hard to judge in pics, the tone seems to change massively in different lighting.

VW must have changed Nimbus Grey, because I have a new Polo in Nimbus Grey and it's definitely metallic.

Nimbus grey was originally an Audi color. Alot of vw group cars have the same colour name but are completely different.
