It's not an S4 but it looks more special than a normal one. Lovely car whatever.

It's an Intergrale Evo as far as I can see.

Something about the front wheel doesn't look right. Stretched tyres over an over sized rim? Spacers? Any ideas, or just a trick of the camera?

That was the design of the wheels to assist with brake cooling.

Anyone know why it looks different to the back wheel?

Carbon fibre discs for brake cooling that attach to the wheels, I'll see if I can find some links with pictures. The later rally cars has them.

That looks like an Evo 2 by the seats but they're easily switched.

Here ya go, it's got these on

Oh and EVERY integrale is special! I loved mine, gone but not forgotten.

Well you learn something new everyday, ref those items used to assist in brake cooling. Oh, and i'm well aware it isn't a dubbed out Golf thanks! The Intregale is one of my favourite cars.

Picky spelling time: It's an Integrale, not an Intergale or Intregrale etc.

But yeah, amazing car - one of my lottery win picks.

Back on topic, I recall the last of the rally Delta's had pretty extreme wheels with vents and whatnot reminiscent of the ones on that one.

Yeah I think that's why people put them on the road going versions, to look more like the WRC cars. I don't think they're really required on a road car, the brakes on my old integrale were really powerful and never showed any hint of fading, even hammering them around windy mountain roads.

Lots of pics around of competition cars with them on.
