I know I stereotype drivers somewhat. Volvo estate, Saxo on steroids and other such chav chariots, overloaded Nissan Micra, Merc E220 D, etc etc etc. I do judge it on the driver though. Plenty of slowly and well driven Porsches out there.

Anyway I was wondering what stereotypes other PH’ers would be willing to admit they attach to certain cars and car brands ?

Flaming and gross generalisations welcome !

MINI drivers. Up their own arse women that believe they are far prettier and more important than they actually are. Usually with sunglasses that cover up most of their face.

I once saw a woman in a Citroen picasso driving along the motorway with the remains of a tyre on her front left rim. I couldn't warn her or anything because I was just leaving the motorway when I spotted her, but there were sparks, and lots of seesawing from the car....

BMW drivers have gotten a lot better in recent years. The worst culprits always drive the 18 or 20d models...

Morgan: Beardy ale drinking middle-aged blokes with Women's Insitute jam making, head-scarf wearing wives.

Although recently with their latest offerings, my perception is changing and am starting to like Morgan

Erm, Corsa drivers? Chav boy racers.

Don't you love stereotypes?

+1 To that. I'd also like to add to that with 'Likely received the Mini as a gift from daddy or well off other halve who just gets them what they want'

I saw a Plus 8 the other day and the driver was exactly as you described hehe

VW Transporter drivers, they're either scenester wannabes or people who wanted but couldn't afford a T2.

Volvo estate
What about them? I moved from impreza's for 10 years to a volvo estate (albeit a v50 t5) and drive no differently from when I had the STi. Maybe take it a little easier on the corners due to no awd.
