Hello, with typical foresight and impecable planning I've got two cars to MOT in the next 8 weeks and both need, or will very soon need, complete sets of tyres.

Can anyone advise on the best way of purchasing in "bulk" and how much discount I should be able to negotiate?

They're nothing fancy 205/55/R16 for my Bora and a set for the missus' SMAX (I think they're runflats as there is no spare so probably a lot dearer).

Thanks!

Ebay or Camskill are usually my first port of call.

Event tryes do discounts on multiples. And they'll deliver / fit if required.

Cheers, they do seem cheap, but apart from infinity I've never heard of any of these brands, should I be worried? I'm no snob about these things, just a bit ignorrant I guess, is there brands I should avoid?

Event tyres discount for 4 is still more expensive than buying one from Camskill after you've paid for delivery and fitting!

I've yet to find anywhere cheaper than Camskill. If I needed 8 I'd maybe ring up and see of there's anything they can do but I'd not hold my breath. If not I'd buy them at their full price a I'd doubt you'll find them any cheaper.

blackcircles.com? You can get online prices and get it fitted at your nearest fitter.

Do you really need runflats on the S-Max?? I'd go with normal cheaper tyres and a moose kit in the boot!

I can't get the image of riding an emergency moose home in the event of a puncture out of my head now rofl
