Is it standard for a newer car not to have an Aux input slot
Discussion
I cant understand this. I have a 2004 Mondeo, and it has the Aux slot in the glovebox.
At work, we have a '10 plate bottom of the range, peasant spec focus, with the Aux slot in the glovebox.
Then we have a 2007 Zetec focus which doesnt, despite having an Aux button on the stereo.
I cant understand why they would fit it to bottom spec new focus, high spec but old mondeo, yet decent spec and newish focus doesnt get it... Ford, i hate you.

I was quite surprised the other week when I had a hire car arranged through work. Brand new Peugeot 308 'Allure' (or 'Active' or something else beginning with A) and it didn't have an aux input or bluetooth. Seemed quite strange these days that you can buy a £14K car and be missing equipment that other cars have had as standard for years.
