Now a good time to buy a used car?

Hi there, first time used car buyer here who would greatly value some expert opinion!

I'm just in the process of selling my Fiat 500, with the aim of upgrading to a used Audi TT mk2 and was wondering what the best way to do this was... I've currently got a buyer for my Fiat and only need a car for weekends so I'm tempted to sell now and to bide my time till September when there my be a new wave of TT's on the market. Is this a good idea or come september (and the change in plates), will it make no difference in the slightest?

From speaking to dealers around this point I get the impression that it's a slow point in the market with not may TT's around, and that come Sept people will be upgrading their PCP leases and getting rid of their 3-4yr old cars. I've got 10-11k so play with which will only get me in at the lower end of the TT market, so any tips and deals would be greatly appreciated!

If its a good offer for your 500 take it.

New registration ...there maybe a few more cars around to choose from, but it's not like the old days of August 1st where a glut of used cars appeared on the market ....
