Just wondering........all the big luxury barges tend to have auto boxes, the S classes, Bentleys and 7 series etc etc.

What manual car, currently on sale or recently out of production, would you say was the most refined and luxurious?

I am guessing it would be something like an E class or big petrol engined 5 series.

I believe you can get a Rolls Royce Ghost with a manual box, if you have the money of course!

Porsche Panamera was launched with a 6-speed for the 2wd versions, I think they ditched it though.

Good shout that.

The DBS manual had a power-ranger gear lever.

Did the S8 or indeed any A8 come with a clutch pedal?

They did in most LHD markets, I believe the one in Ronin was a manual, I think it shaves over a second off the 0-60!

Can't argue with that, shirley? Would like to see real evidence that it's a manual though, still can't imagine anyone ordering a FFRR without a waftbox.

A lot of dealers seem to select manual possibley because the boxes have a triptronic mode? I know the P38's definitley came with manual boxes but this L322 according to my parts system is an Auto
