Beige interiors. Does anyone buy them?

Just ordered a company passat, yawn. Decided to go for dark metallic blue with beige cloth inside as opposed to the normal black. On the configuration it seems to lighten up the interior nicely.

Only available on factory order, 20 week lead time, apparently vw offer it as an option but don't ever build any for stock.
Surely I can't be the only person to want one, I always think that even on a filthy 10 year old banger lighter interiors seem a more appealing place to sit than in a sea of black and grey.

My bangernomics Audi 80 interior is beige. Its pretty nice, especially considering it is truly spotless (despite being 16 years old).

Proper bangernomics bargain there. Always thought the 80 looked classy.

Dark paint with a cream/tan/biscuit leather is the best combination in my opinion.

But i'm biased wink :

I much prefer a light interior to John Major Grey or Goth Black.

I'm currently very tempted by an early v8 vantage. One thing I insist on is a kestrel tan interior cloud9 (google it!)

I always choose black as it looks better and I'm generally grubby from playing with cars and houses.

However I'll admit when I have bought cars with beige leather (specialist cars so I put up with it) they are much lighter inside which is nice on dark winter days.

So whilst I like the lightness, I still hate the colour.

Depends on the car. In a Jag or similar barge then yes, sports car no.

I like light coloured interiors yes In fact, I tend to prefer most interior colours over plain black.

Defo light colours for me, I bought my GTV because I loved the Momo tan interior and fortunately the rest of the car turned out ok too!

Quality beige yes. 90s rover beige, no. Wanted a tan leather interior in red exterior for my alfa, but couldn't find a good one. Ended up with yellow paint and black leather instead.

Had an e46 BMW back in the day, black with beige leather interior.

Agree that it lightens it up a bit, bugger to keep clean though. Should have gott black mats though - light coloured floor mats are just a ridiculous idea!

Have you seen a current Passat with beige interior? It's not particularly nice, moreso it being cloth

From the current model Fiesta.
Has to have been the worst interior I have ever sat in. It was made worse with the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake in the car I was in were still the standard grey ones. It was as if they had gone to the trouble of making everything else beige but just couldn't be bothered with those last three bits and just thought "Sod it, that'll do."

Got to agree that Passat's beige interior isn't great(not seen a post-facelift version though) ... also, no problems with beige seats, but I had a rental BMW F30 and the carpets were shockingly difficult to keep clean after only a few days.

The vast majority of Volkswagens are bought in black/silver other plain, boring colour with black interior with brushed aluminium trim. It's the standard, and these are white goods.

My Volvo is purple with a cream leather interior. Which looks better than it sounds.
