If this is true and there's no hidden flaws, it could have a major effect on the automotive sector:

Obviously you'd never get the current supply at home to utilise it, but if it meant electric cars could be fully charged in motorway service stations in fifteen minutes, one of the major negatives of fully electric cars is severely reduced.
