£7k doesn't seem especially cheap for an 11 year old car to me.

Top speed aside, it looks quite a tidy one.

Bought my wife an 02 plate over 4 years ago at the bargain price of £10500!! Needed new pads all round.
I'd be happy with £7k now even though I tried to buy her a 987S but she wants a guard red one and it's not the most common colour anymore.

Blimey, it does to me. Cheaper out there, but not bad value at all for used Pork IMO.

It's about, what, 20% of its original value? There are cars that hit that within five years. hehe

I'd have thought most people would be tempted by a sightly older 996 which are available for not much more.

Just sold mine. Although a 2.5 and not a 'proper engine' only managed to get £4500 :-(. Even though mine could do 180!! :-D on a good day down a steep hill.

Who remembers the playground banter of "my dads speedo reads to 120MPH, so my dads car is faster"? Well maybe this chap has taken it to the extreme. Says 190MPH on the dials, must be able to do it?

True, but I'd be very wary of the £10k 996, less so of the £7k 986.

Seeing as the speedo only reads to 175 he might struggle smile

I think he's popped the boot as well as the panel gap in the front suggests it's sitting on the latch. Either that or it's a fopping big panel gap.

Seems like a lot of car for the cash tbh.
