Cars just been hit.

Black cab driver hit my door as I was leaning into the car,

Road Very wide enough for him to pass, and he was on wrong side

admitted looking at his phone.

Door dented and window snmashed all over me and the road.

Im fine just a couple small cuts



Hes outside now cleaning up with his own gear he went back to get.



He says he will pay for a new door, he seems fine

got his cab/reg number.


What do I get him to sign, some sort of responsobility letter?

This is easy - ring the police, and your insurers. Just think - you're OK this time, but what if he'd left you in a wheelchair / decapitated? He's meant to be a professional driver, yet he's on his phone driving into parked cars - s trick IMO.

i dont know if i should ring the police, I mean am i being soft? will he lose his job? He live down the road so dont really want to be responsible for that.
