I know many of us have sworn, cursed, shed blood and tears over seized or awkwardly positioned bolts, particularly engine mounts. These guys, however, have found a solution....

Looks like fun, but I'm glad I don't live next door to those guys. THis is way more impressive though, an engine swap in a similar timeframe.

I've never liked this video.

There's no skill in it and how did they do things like remove the driveshafts from the gearbox, bleed the coolant etc. I know it's only a 'stunt' but thats what I think biggrin

I dont know why but I really hated watching that, the same with the other video of the scrapper ripping the engines out...just felt wrong.

The industrial shredder with the shopping trolleys though...bloody hell!

Quite amusing.

If you dubbed it in English, you could pretend they were destroying a time machine.

Its an aircooled VW engine, they're an aluminium/magnesium alloy so pretty soft and easy to smash. I would like to see it eat an iron block V8 and see how it got on! Amazingly powerful shredder!

At your service sir, no aluminium here, it take a bit longer but still gets the job done
