Spotted this yesterday. Never seen a 500 that cheap but plenty of smaller engined SLs for that wedge. Even see 500's for around the 4-5 mark, so maybe it's just rough and he's being realistic? wheels look gash though.

Sadly, the price is about right for a 21 year old SL in average condition. If you had time to do some minor renovation (which no interior photos suggests may be needed) and are happy to take the risk of rust, hydraulic problems etc and want to keep it for some time, it could be a very good buy.

Wheels belong in the nearest skip though.
