why do people put incorrect mileages on adverts on headline ?? just seen lotus carlton says 10,500 miles when its really 105,000 ! does my head in

It'll be around 20 years old so that's only 5k miles a year which is not a lot.

See it a lot with the older Fords and their 5 digit clocks so some people actually think they can list the mileage is 21075 or something when clearly it's 121075
