Cheapest way to insure MK2 GTI 8v ?

If you have read my other post "sorn car back on the road".....you'll understand that I want to bring the car back on to the road ASAP.

I drive about 5000 miles pa.

Should I try to seek out:

limited milage insurance companies
Specialist insurers
Classic insurance

Who should I try? recommendations please.

Oh....37 & clean licence.

I am surprised you at 37 would need to ask.
Try them all ,any way it will be cheap.

Phone them all, the variation of prices can be quite astonishing. And the good quotes and bad quotes change each year. Happy phoning !

If its "Modified" Which can be ANYTHING, honestly normally the whole its gotan exhaust works. Try Graham Sykes, they're great, 7500 miles for me at 24 modified exhaust is 650 quid. Thats for the williams, it gives you no claims bonus to unlike classic insurance.
