Using car xxxx as a daily driver, for comuting, etc
Discussion
Am I the only person who thinks that the correct answer to one of the generic questions on whether such and such car is suitable for daily use, daily driving, comuting, etc is a NO ... or possibly a 'unlikely to be suitable for you'?
I see this a lot on here and on other forums. This is not a dig at a person asking such a question but I would say that 9 times out of 10 if you have doubts then the answer is no! You know and understand the limitations of the car you are asking about, hence the reason you are asking the question!
The danger of asking the question is that someone/somewhere will use the car in the fashion you describe. And the leaking roof, tyres that are useless in the wet, no air con, no stereo, etc etc does not bother them but only you can judge whether it bothers you.
The risk is that the responses may convince you otherwise and against your better judgement - to try it out. This could work but more likely than not - it won't!
We are not all equal is the point I am trying to make I guess!
