Any Army types out there?
Discussion
I have just watched the first in the second series 'Our War' on BBC 3 and was once again humbled by the amazing courage of the soldiers.
I understand that many of these young men leave the forces in their 20's and 30's and struggle to integrate back into society or find looking for a new career a bit of a challenge.
I would like to offer any support that I can, is there a charity or organisation that represents their interests that anyone knows of? ( I know that Help for Heroes does excellent work, but this is primarily for injured soldiers?)
Thanks,
TH

Perfect, thank youFirstly - well done on showing your appreciation, it makes a big difference and is one of the things our American friends are way ahead of us on. As suggested the charity route is worth investigating - but if you want to focus your contribution with a personal touch I'd also suggest writing a letter to the Commandant of your local camp, and see what he/she suggests. Even if they are very busy they would get in touch as this sort of stuff hits a soft spot and is good for morale.
