I won an auction for a car last weekend on ebay, from the description (if true) I got it for a good price. It’s a garage that sold the car on ebay however it’s the first time they have sold a car using ebay.
The car was also advertised on Autotrader.

When I called them to arrange pick up and payment and they seemed a bit vague, they didn't even know how much the car sold for. I said I wanted to pick it up this weekend and they said that would be fine but call them later in the week to confirm.
Monday I noticed that the advert still existed on Autotrader, a bit odd I thought but it didn't bother me.

Today I've noticed the advert still exists on Autotrader and the price has changed!!
They are obviously trying to get more money for it before I can pick it up - cheeky bds.

Technically that’s my car they are selling!!

I intend to call them tomorrow to find out whats happening.

But I'm in two minds now, should I still buy it (if it’s still available) or not?

If the price is as good as you say then yes, but make sure they stick to eBay rules and I would certainly get a receipt or pay via PayPal. If not then its up to PayPal to chase them. I would phone them again and tell them you won the auction and you expect to pay the price it was won for.

Can I pay with paypal?

What I mean is if the option is there does that mean I can? Has the seller set up a paypal account?

I might suggest that tomorrow to them, I just don't want them to say I can't because they haven't set it up.

I bet a telephone conversation would have taken less time than it did to start this thread.
