Im going to the shops earlier, and have to go down a NSL single carriageway road. There's fields either side and its a quick road. No pavement or anything, just grass verges either side, and as such, it's a clearway.
Im going along, the sun is at its lowest and is right in my eyes.
I see a kid, no older than 17 going along on my side of the road on a scooter. Bearing in mind he was going with the flow of traffic into the sun, i thought this was very stupid. He had no high vis clothing on, no helmet and no protective gear.
Ok, so i hear you say, 'so what' no massive deal, it's just a scooter.
Except it wasn't a 50cc Honda. Or even a Motability death chariot.
Instead, it was one of these;
