Local paper has me fuming

"A DEADLY stretch of road near Mansfield claimed its SIXTH victim in six years last week and today Chad launches a campaign to try make it the last."
"The speed limit on both sides of Cuckney Hill has been reduced to 50mph but Chad has now started a petition for speed cameras to be used to enforce it."
"Suzanne Heydon, Group Manager for Highways Safety at Nottinghamshire County Council said: “The circumstances of the recent fatal road traffic accident on the A60 at Cuckney Hill are currently being investigated by Nottinghamshire Police."
Right, so let me get this straight. This paper is jumping on the OH MY THINK OF THE CHILDREN bandwagon against speed, even though they cannot prove what caused the accident.
What an awful piece of sensationalism, what a knee jerk reaction. I thought journalists report the truth? Might have to call Lord Levenson.
People like this make me despair. They've already got a reduction to 50, yet another young man lost his life, surely a speed camera will only punish the normal drivers who might suffer a 3mph lapse of concentration.
Just sheer rage.
