Cheapest lease
Discussion
Guy at work wants to lease a car at the cheapest rate possible.
Not bothered what it is, just that its cheap!
Can you get them that include insurance? He lives in the middle of Bradford and his insurance is £45 a month! (aged 36 on a Fiat Maria!)
I cant seem to find anything particularly cheap - even the cheapest 107 deal from Lings cars is £150 a month - I was hoping to be able to find something at about £100!

Skoda Citigo £110 per month
Citroen C1 £105 per month
Both can be had <£100 per month with larger deposit (quoted are both standard 3 payments)
ContractHireandLeasing is the place to look.

I think she's done that kind of thing to different extents on most forums - including this one. Her posts usually end up getting deleted.
Are some of her posts deleted?
I don't think it's that bad. She's correct in what she says, PCP is a lease as the purchase part of PCP is optional so by default it's a lease.
She's right about the level playing field of her website using what she calls industry standards compared to the deals of £1200 deposit but £50 per month for 5000 miles.
Just seems like a couple of posters on there are trying to pick her apart.

Contracthireandleasing is the best website as above. I have sourced over a dozen contract hire cars for the office using that site as a starting point, from Ford Ka to Mercs and Jags. Never had a problem with any of them.
You can save thousands of pounds over the life of the lease by shopping around. I'm not really sure how any broker can particularly "add value" it's usually a price led decision that i make, the cars have always turned up as ordered.

PCP is not a lease, it's a purchse with a guaranteed future value. VAT on the road costs and not on payments is the key difference. I don't think it's that bad. She's correct in what she says, PCP is a lease as the purchase part of PCP is optional so by default it's a lease.

I agree. Read the thread and thought some of the posters came across and idiots trying to provoke her. I don't think it's that bad. She's correct in what she says, PCP is a lease as the purchase part of PCP is optional so by default it's a lease.
