Confused price randomly gone up!
Discussion
I've been pondering a 1988 Merc SEC for a while and have done a confused quote a few times over the last 6 months. The lowest price has always been Lancaster and about 140 quid, latest quote a couple of weeks ago. However I went onto confused yesterday and as the 140 quid quote had expired I re-ran it (no changes to my details) and the lowest quote now, with Lancaster still, is 340 odd! Why the 200 quid increase in the space of a week??
Out of curiosity the quote for an older Merc and an MGB GT hadn't changed (Lanc were'nt lowest) and infact the Merc (a W114) had gone down a bit!
Whats the logic??

There is probably a reason somewhere, but as systems become more complex they tend towards irrationality.
Yeah I thought this. I'm sure it's been about 140 since I had my last SEC which was last December I think! Maybe somebody spotted it and thought "that's too cheap". Annoying....but not enough to put me off and i'm sure if i phoned around I could beat 340, hell my TVR is less!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
