15 year old idiot kid and his boyfriend in a starlet GT Turbo try to goad me into racing tonight, mandatory dropped to the deck, massive back box, dash mounted boost counter and oversized waste gate / dump valve chirping away

i declined to play as i don't fancy being awarded an extra 11 points for an MS50

never seen one before, i assume its an import

just like this lol

Were you in a racy car? What sort of road was it? Is it their age you take umbridge too?

They probably just wanted a bit of fun, to be honest.

Is it a common mod on Japanese imports to add a rev counter?

When you said rush hour, I immediatly lost all sympathy for the chap. Nothing wrong with a bit of a communial hoon, but only if the roads are completely clear. What where you driving?

Indeed 'tis a shame. I really like them.

Edit: Although the one in Dave's video looked ok apart from the quad headlight conversion.

So it was lowered, had a dump valve, a large exhaust and a "rev counter" - while I'm not sure what that last one means, presumably they all have a rev counter as standard, the first 3 are pretty much standard fare for modified cars. How do the first 3 constitute "terrible" modding?

Ah, a boost gauge, very handy thing to have in a tuned up turbo car, and an excellent tool to help diagnose boost leaks.

Nice decision not to race him as your car is too slow anyway.
