Volvo S80

New price £32.995

Value after 3 years £6995

You mean as a percentage of the cars initial price. I'd probably go 320i in 3 years

But would anybody actually "pay" 33k?

Sounds terrible, but might make a good three year old bargain for someone.

In my experience MOST cars lose around 55% after three years.....

wow that is actually quite dreadful! in terms of depreciation by amount I think the Phantom and Continental GT are amongst the worst.

I have my £7K ready (may even go a little higher) - happily pay this for either of the following 3 year examples with FVSH and average miles.

V8 SE Lux /Premium or S80 D5 Executive wink.

With the first broker I checked you can get circa £7000 off that.

£20k loss is probably quite average for even a 3 series buyer

Fez 458 Italia was actually in the top 5

was worth something like 67% of it's price after 3 years

but to be hones t I don't think anyone buying a Roller or a Benter is going to care about depreciation much

I think the Mayback 62S set a record, something like £300 a day during it's first year.
