Sorry, another what car £2000 max

Right guys i have sold my focus st and am changing my car for a 4/5 door. I have asked a similar question before, but i now have the cash in my hand to buy one. I am currenlty looking at a skoda octavia vrs mk1 or an audi 1.8t. Could you guys suggest other options before i proceed to buy one of these or an owner experiences of the 2 i have narrowed it down to. The performance must be similar to these so around 8 secs to sixty.

I promise to update this thread with pics as soon as i have my car.

I would definitely go for the 1.8t A3, by far the best choice..

I am in a similar position. I keep coming back to the Audi 1.8t. It looks like the best option performance wise whilst remaining practical. An extra few hundred quid will see them up to 180bhp+ as well
