Car Choice - Something With Strong Residuals

I'm changing my car soon. I have a budget of anywhere up to 50k but want something that won't lose too much money on the residuals side. Could go a bit more if needed. What would you guys recommend?

2 options i've considered so far is Porsche 993 Turbo and BMW M3 CSL. I want something with good performance and fairly good reliability.

Is the 993 Turbo a fairly solid bet or do you see the 996's climbing back up?
