Need to upgrade the Micra 2005/6 M5
Discussion
Hi all,
The time has come to get back into my petrol head guise. It's been 4 years since I have owned anything that has put a smile on my face. Now I am in a position to buy something fun, trackable, a little mental and most importantly can take me on a long journey comfortably.
I have been looking at my options and it seems that the M5 is at bargain prices due to the new model arriving. 15k can get a 2005 model with less than 80k on the clock.
I am not too bothered about running costs etc because I will only be using it on the weekends and occasionally during the week. it's not a necessity for my daily commute (London)
I also see this as a keeper, the last use of the v10 is surely to be a classic eventually.
What should I be looking out for with these? What goes wrong at what mileage etc. What would you suggest as an alternative?
Cheers
David
