We're looking for a disabled car fan who wants to go the Paris Autoshow next month.

We'll pay for all your travel (Eurostar) and expenses for the day as well as getting you into the show and feeding and watering you.

We're a research company who are interested in getting a disabled persons POV of the Autoshow and manufactures stands. You'll be accompanied on the day by a researcher.

You'll also be paid for your time.

If you're interested, please drop me a note at imagresearch at gmail.com

If you have any comments on accessibility issues at Autoshows, please drop them as a reply below.

My petrol-bodied 6 year old son has a verucca and it hurts. He also keeps saying "Charlie bit me" though that is from watching You Tube.

Hey guys, this is a serious issue where a fellow PH'r is going to make a difference for those who may struggle with thoughtless design. Can we keep it to serious offers only please?

As a disabled person I would like to offer my services. My disability is being ginger.

Sorry.

As much as I'd like to seize this opportunity as a deaf petrolhead, chances of going are remote due to me having a job and can't take time off at this stage.

Hope someone else gets it.

What about BlackVanDyke? She fits both criteria IIRC.

I've tweeted her a link to this thread.

I have a friend who is a very very passionate petrolhead, and is wheelchair bound (no use of legs etc), drives an almost 1000whp Supra. Have you got details I could pass onto him, Im sure he would be your caliber of person to attend such an event, and give a very focused and honest review of his findings.

biggrin he's already emailed me! Thankyou very much.

and, yes, I'm both one of those crippled sorts and an unapologetic petrolhead.

Do some research for us will you. When the disabled person turns up, block their parking space with your own van for 10 minutes & let us know what the reaction is please.

Fluffnik is disabled too isn't he? Although you'd need to get him from North of the border to Paris.
