soft roaders...why?

For some bizarre reason Enterprise gave me a Chevy Captiva instead of the usual Insignia for my daily runabout. Have to say it was a bit of a beast but very comfy and pretty nippy...I was alarmed by the ave mpg of 27/28 though and even more when I discovered it was a mere 2.0t. When one considers the price differential for derv, it would be as economical to run a petrol V8 in the damn thing!

trust me, it really wouldnt! take a look at the MPG of a V6 freelander 1 vs a TD4!
