£7k - £10k Small car for my parents

My parents are currently looking for a small car in the above budget. It has to be an auto for my mum and it needs to be small so it can fit in a new build garage with a motorbike and tools. Their current thoughts are around Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1, but are there better cars out there for the money?

What would you get?

I think the Up! / Citigo / Mii trio comfortably outclass the PSA equivalent.

Not sure if a Honda Jazz fits pricewise, but it'll tick the box in every other way.

For me it would be the IQ. Cracking car IMHO and leagues better than the Aygo/C1/106. Failing that a Jazz would be another that I'd spend that kind of money on.

That kind of money would probably get the latest model (2009) Jazz but the auto box was an automated manual and isn't well thought of. The old model used a CVT and they've recently switched back to CVT.

I would go a little bit bigger and older and get a 2010 jazz. Class above all of the above and in 2 or 3 years there will not be much in the values and condition as the newer cars mentioned above.
