I had someone throw themselves in front of me and lay down in the middle of the road like a starfish a few months back. I stopped, just, but it was bloody close. I've come to the conclusion that he was either trying to kill himself or do what the guy in the video is trying to do and get hit on purpose and claim compensation.

That Taiwanese one was hilarious. I would have lolled significantly harder if he was struck by another vehicle after being told to sling his hook by the first driver though

Someone did this in front of my school bus once. Must have been 17/8 years ago.
Driver had noticed him from a long way off, stopped the bus and actually warned us all to stay still, then thud. Guy did a running jump into the windscreen and lay on the road.
Think he was a junkie looking for compo.
Very sad & funny at the same time.
