A6 Avant 3.0 TDI S-line Tip - What's it worth?

A friend is interested in buying my cousins Audi. It's a 2006 55 plate in black with 95,000 miles , FSH and I would say in average condition. Can anyone advice what that would be worth in a private sale?

My guess about 6k. Read the thread on avoid modern diesels. He could be in for some wallet opening bills between 100 and 150k miles.

Private sale I'd say 6k is about spot on.

I would not bother. It's mostly rubbish from people who have never had a high mileage diesel repeating more rubbish that they have heard.

Some maybe... I certainly know of several people "bitten" with nasty bills on high mileage diesels....like anything, pay your money, take your chance. Or as an old mate said "anything with ti#s or wheels will let you down"

Thanks, I think they've done a deal at £7,500 the wheels are going to be refurbed, the scrstches touched in and the car has just been serviced.

It's a superb car and suits the needs of my mate perfectly.
